About V-Chain Solutions, Inc.
V-Chain is a 360 Degree Business Optimization vendor that enables companies to find value by aligning their demand planning and supply planning activities. Our methodology enables companies to be more efficient and increase profits by providing a global planning solution that has visibility over their entire supply chain. Throughout the years, there has been a growing problem of aligning demand planning and supply planning activities. Furthermore, companies have experienced productivity loss due to the growing number of applications in which they use to perform their daily activities. Today's information worker is bouncing between inventory systems, purchasing and planning systems, email, Word, Excel, BI Tools and many other productivity tools in order to perform their daily jobs. This causes productivity levels to drastically decrease and poor decision making to increase with companies around the world.

Research by Vinod R. Singhal from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Kevin B. Hendricks from the University of Western Ontario suggests that the average company loses 18.5% of its shareholder value due to six most common supply-chain glitches. These glitches represent the symptoms of an organization that has a lack of alignment between demand planning and supply planning activities. In other words, they face challenges with the alignment between people, process, and systems. Forrester Research states that until BI and BPM technologies converge and include collaboration models, companies will continue to need multiple applications in order to perform daily activities. In light of this problem, the BPM market will continue to grow from $1.2 billion in 2005 to more than $2.7 billion by 2009.
